Privacy Policy

Herai is a salon management platform operated by an independent entrepreneur. For any privacy-related request, email contact@herai.pro.

Account data. Name, email address, salon name, phone number, and address — collected at signup.

Salon operational data. Appointments, client profiles, stylist information, call transcripts, and analytics — entered or generated through use of the platform.

Payment data. Billing information is processed exclusively by Stripe. Herai never stores card numbers or banking details.

Technical data. IP address, browser type, and session cookies for authentication — collected automatically.

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Herai platform
• To send transactional communications (appointment confirmations, invoices, product updates)
• To generate call transcripts and summaries through our voice receptionist service

We never sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Herai uses the following sub-processors to deliver the service:

• Supabase (database & authentication) — secure cloud infrastructure, SOC 2 Type II compliant
• Stripe (payment processing) — PCI DSS compliant
• Vapi (voice infrastructure for call handling) — transcripts processed through Vapi's infrastructure. Audio data is processed to generate text transcripts and is not permanently stored as audio.
• Twilio (SMS delivery) — used to send appointment confirmations and reminders
• Vercel (hosting) — application hosted on Vercel's infrastructure

• Account data is retained for the duration of the subscription plus 12 months
• Call transcripts are retained for 6 months then automatically deleted
• Payment and billing records are retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes

Regardless of where you live, you have the following rights over your personal information. We verify your identity before acting on any request.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA). If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and retain
• Delete your personal information
• Correct inaccurate personal information
• Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information
• Non-discrimination for exercising any of these rights

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA. We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics. We respond to verified requests within 45 days.

Other US states. Residents of Virginia, Connecticut, Colorado, Utah, Texas, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws have substantially similar rights (access, deletion, correction, opt-out). Contact us to exercise them.

European Union / United Kingdom residents (GDPR / UK GDPR). You additionally have the right to:

• Access, correct, delete, or export your data in a portable format
• Object to processing or withdraw consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority

GDPR requests are answered within 30 days.

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access to production data is strictly limited. We conduct regular security reviews and never store payment card details ourselves.

Herai is a professional tool intended for salon owners and their staff. The platform is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, COPPA). If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at contact@herai.pro and we will delete it promptly.

We use only strictly necessary cookies for authentication and session management. No advertising, tracking, or third-party analytics cookies.

We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
